About Us
Our Selle Francais breeding operation was established in 1980, with the import of a number of SF mares from France, and one of our foundation stallions, Oleandre, by Jalisco B, who had been imported from France by his previous owners from whom he was purchased.
Oleandre (photo below) has left his imprint on our herd, and we still have two of his daughters, Krysalis and Jazirah, as broodmares.
On the left, you will see one of his sons, Impromptu, a six year old finalist at The Hamptons.
We also have an excellent Thoroughbred stallion, The Black Dancer (photo below), who we use for cross-breeding, in order to maintain the ideal balance of SF x TB blood that has been so successful in the jumping and eventing worlds.
